London reunites people, but can also tear them apart. In a city where your origins don’t matter but appearance is everything the carefree, confident, young fashion student, Jo, leads a happy life of luxury with her circle of posh friends. One day, the unexpected arrival of a mysterious woman and her ‘ugly duckling’ daughter turns her life upside down. The girl and a hidden secret in her father’s past question everything she thinks about herself and knows about life.

The production will also be part of the Belfast Fringe in October 2011.
